The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC CHSL 2025 Notification at its new portal ssc.gov.in. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fil 3131 vacancies for various Group-C positions in different ministries and departments of the Government of India.

SSC CHSL 2025 Vacancy Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a total of 3131 vacancies under the SSC CHSL recruitment. These include posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant (PA) and Sorting Assistant (SA) across various central government departments and ministries. SSC CHSL 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10 +2) from a recognised board.
• For DEO posts in specific ministries, Class 12 with Science and Mathematics is mandatory.
• Age must be 18 to 27 years as of August 1, 2025.
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.
• The application fee is ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Women are exempted from the fee.
• The last date for fee payment is July 19, 2025, by 11:00 PM (online mode only).

The SSC CHSL 2025 selection process will take place in three stages. First, candidates must appear for a Tier 1 Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be objective in nature. Those who qualify will move on to Tier 2, which includes a descriptive paper and a skill test. Finally, a typing or skill test will be conducted based on the specific post applied for.

• Submit and save a copy of the form

After applying, candidates should start preparing for the Tier 1 CBT exam based on subjects like General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language.
