IBPS Recruitment 2025 Begins: 6,000+ PO, SO, and Other Vacancies Announced

1 July, 2025 – The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for the 2025 recruitment drive, inviting applications for more than 6,000 vacancies across multiple roles, including Probationary Officers (PO), Specialist Officers (SO), Hindi Officers, and others. The online application process began on July 1, 2025, and is being conducted on the official website – ibps.in.

According to the official notice, this recruitment aims to fill 5,208 vacancies for the position of Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) under CRP PO/MT-XV across 11 participating public sector banks.

In addition to PO roles, IBPS has also opened applications for Specialist Officer positions in departments such as IT, Law, Agriculture and Human Resources, along with Hindi Officer posts for eligible postgraduates.

Candidates must fulfil eligibility criteria in terms of age, educational qualification, and nationality as prescribed in the detailed notification available on the IBPS website. Graduates aged between 20 and 30 years are eligible to apply for PO posts, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.

The application process includes registration, uploading of documents, payment of fees, and final submission. The preliminary examination for PO/MT is scheduled for August 2025, with the mains likely to be held in October, followed by interviews.

The last date to submit the online application for IBPS Recruitment 2025 is July 21, 2025. Candidates are advised to complete the application well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The selection process includes a preliminary exam, mains exam, and an interview round.
